Effective 27 July 2026. This notice explains how Bluecap Minerals Pty Ltd handles information generated when you use bluecap.au.

Calculator request history

When you use a survey cost calculator, BlueCap may record the calculator and page, the sequence of controls changed, the values selected, the estimates displayed, an anonymous first-party visitor identifier, a browser-session identifier, request time, IP address, country and network provider.

This information is used to understand prospective survey requirements, improve calculator usability, investigate technical problems and assess aggregate demand. A calculator result is indicative and is not treated as an order or binding quote.

Calculator events are stored in UTC. IP addresses are encrypted at rest, available only to authorised Portal administrators and removed automatically after a limited retention period. Country, network provider and non-identifying calculator events may be retained longer for trend analysis. BlueCap does not use calculator analytics to fingerprint visitors and does not send IP addresses to an external geolocation provider; location is derived from a locally hosted GeoIP database.

Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” disable this calculator history. You can also disable it in this browser by setting bluecap_calculator_analytics_opt_out to 1 in local storage.

Contact and access

Information submitted through a contact form is used to respond to your enquiry and administer the requested service. To ask for access, correction or deletion of website information, contact BlueCap through the published contact page and include the approximate time, page and browser used so the relevant session can be located.

BlueCap limits administrative access and applies security, retention and audit controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
